"Sen. James Kyle, who wrote the legislation for Labor Day, was born in Cedarville, so the village holds a big celebration each year on the special day. "We have had a lot of vision and leadership and are looking for more of the same to continue the progress we have made," said Cedarville Mayor Jim Phips. "By bringing in a large number of grants, we have been able to rebuild bridges, streets, gutters and curbs and make improvements to our community pool. And there is a lot happening as far as planning for the future."
